Letter To Younger Self

Hey You.

This may come as a lot of a shock, but I'm writing from the future. No, this is not a joke i am very serious, i am really you, only that now, i am 19 years old. So basically now i am 14 years older than you. OK, so you still think that this is a joke so let me prove it to you:

• You live with your grandparents
• You go to " El Colegio Agustiniano"
  
• You were born with a gift of playing the drums and will when you get to my age you will be in love with everything that has to do with percussion.
  
• Emely...who is your neighbor, your sister, your best friend.
  

Isn't this enough i mean i can keep going. One more thing what that on the right side of your body well stomach... ha ! . Now tell me who else would know that but you, umm me, you , well us.

Yes, its true - i am you, only older...

An i have good news! it is now the year 2009 and we are still alive. The world didn't end in the New Millennium as they said. It is still here, so just don't worry about all the prophecies you'll be hearing. Other good news! don't listen to what other people tell you, you will end up super good, you will see what i mean. You still love music just stop trying to sing it is never going to work. Stick to percussion and don't give up on those lessons that they keep taking you to.

Even better news! you did make it through high school; you have a lot of great things to look forward to in your life to come. You are going to be moving to the big city of New York. Learn English as your second language which is why you might not be able to understand this Ha!. They are many other things i don't have space to tell you about, and wouldn't want to ruin the surprises for you i mean its just a heads up. Let me just tell you that along this journey we call life you will be meeting some great people and most may just disappear those were the fake ones you will see. But you could have even more great experiences if you'll take a few pointers from your older self. After all who else knows better than the one who lived it. There is just one little problem i would not like to change anything in my life i am still alive and with no type of regrets and no hatred against nobody, this is why i choose not to give you pointers and let you live it to the fullest just like i did.
