There's only a thousand years to try, i fear we will never speak, and that's the only way for you to know me. I sometimes think you are not real and it was just a story for them to fool me. I always wonder what life would have been, if you weren't to always be asleep.

I heard you were terrible at socializing like me. That i have the same personality as you! loved music, funny, outgoing, and just caring for others. Let me tell you that every time i walk by your neighborhood everyone tells me that i look just like somebody they once knew, it is sad to say i don't even own a picture of you.

I also know that you were really into your clothing and loved dancing, why did i have to be like this, not meet you and all. Maybe it would've been better to have met you i have nothing alike with my father, but don't worry besides all the fights and differences, he takes great care of me. He's always making sure i have everything i need, He's always there for m mom and takes the best care of her.

I don't know if she misses you, she does not talk about you with me. I am not really happy about your side of the family all i talk to is some of my closest cousins, besides them they don't look for me or try to pick up the phone to see how i am doing.

I wish i had some sort of power to get to you and to just sit across from you and ask you a lot of questions: Are you happy with the choices I've made in life?
why, did you leave us, why didn't you wait so that i can have met you? Just so many questions but its impossible. Believe it or not i love you and just love the fact that you are my father even if i didn't get to meet you.

Sorry, i have not gone to see you, i did ask for it once but got ignored in some sort of way. I will make it some day and it would be the longest day of my life because i am going to sit there and tell you all about me, since the day i can remember. Once thing i went through in a certain period of my life where i believed it is my fault you were gone, since you were on your way to see me when it all happened, and just other certain highlights of my life that i want to know if you are okay with.

My birthday just passed by and for some strange reason i feel as if it was the most important birthday of my life because i feel as if in this past year i have learned a lot, about people around me and just life overall. This may come as a lot of a shock, but I'm writing from the future. No, this is not a joke i am very serious, i am really you, only that now, i am 19 years old. So basically now i am 14 years older than you. OK, so you still think that this is a joke so let me prove it to you:

• You live with your grandparents
• You go to " El Colegio Agustiniano"
  
• You were born with a gift of playing the drums and will when you get to my age you will be in love with everything that has to do with percussion.
  
• Emely...who is your neighbor, your sister, your best friend.
  

Isn't this enough i mean i can keep going. One more thing what that on the right side of your body well stomach... ha ! . Now tell me who else would know that but you, umm me, you , well us.

Yes, its true - i am you, only older...

An i have good news! it is now the year 2009 and we are still alive. The world didn't end in the New Millennium as they said. It is still here, so just don't worry about all the prophecies you'll be hearing. Other good news! don't listen to what other people tell you, you will end up super good, you will see what i mean. You still love music just stop trying to sing it is never going to work. Stick to percussion and don't give up on those lessons that they keep taking you to.

Even better news! you did make it through high school; you have a lot of great things to look forward to in your life to come. You are going to be moving to the big city of New York. Learn English as your second language which is why you might not be able to understand this Ha!. They are many other things i don't have space to tell you about, and wouldn't want to ruin the surprises for you i mean its just a heads up. Let me just tell you that along this journey we call life you will be meeting some great people and most may just disappear those were the fake ones you will see. But you could have even more great experiences if you'll take a few pointers from your older self. After all who else knows better than the one who lived it. There is just one little problem i would not like to change anything in my life i am still alive and with no type of regrets and no hatred against nobody, this is why i choose not to give you pointers and let you live it to the fullest just like i did.

En la vida hay altibajos continuamente, pero hay que tratar de ser feliz y seguir adelante porque asi es la vida y te pone obstaculos.

La vida pasa muy deprisa sin que nos demos cuenta, yo estoy a punto de cumplir 19 años y hoy recordaba lo bien que se estaba a los cuando uno era chiquito, con ese primer de clases en el agustiniano, con esas ganas locas de crecer y ver a mi mama cuando estaba en ny, con esa admiración que se tenia por shantal cuando no viviamos juntas, con esa ilusión de vivir y jugar todo el tiempo, con esa felicidad que nadie podia quitarte.

Era tan bonito vivir así, sin más preocupación que disfrutar.

Pero el tiempo pasa y las personas crecemos, aunque esas ganas por crecer que teniamos de pequeños se vuelvan en ganas de parar el tiempo, de volver a la infancia, no nos creiamos que la vida fuese complicada, no existia el dolor en el alma, solo el físico, que menos me duele.
Aunque no todo son desventajas, crecer te ayuda a aprender, a elegir, saber diferenciar por ti sola lo que hay que hacer, como superar los obstáculos.

¿Imaginas un mundo sin vida?, ¿para que?, crecer y morir, ¿porque? cual es el motivo de todo. Sera que nosotros estamos aqui para encontrar las respuestas de todas esas preguntas.

En realidad cuando uno muere solo queda el recuerdo, y no hay nada bueno sobre entonces de que se van a acordar, y cuando muere la gente que te conocia no queda prácticamente nada, y después de morir acaba todo? ¿No hay nada, de verdad?

Dissapointments Throughout Childhood.

It has been great to actually live life without disappointments nor regrets. I feel like everything happens for a reason, and every mistake that it is made in life it is to learn a lesson.

A funny story....

Freshman year in high school, i was suppose to be going on a class trip to the aquarium yet decided, why go? And just skipped the whole trip and went shopping with a couple of friends leading me to getting caught by authorities and getting taken back to school, but learned a lesson from it all. Why miss out on a once in a lifetime experience, i mean of course i can always go to the aquarium but not with my H.S. friends. But i missed out on that to just do something that i was conscious of the fact that it could get me in trouble i did pay the consequences such as detention for the remaining months of school. The consequences helped me get to school earlier and be in class on time everyday since i had the obligation of getting to detention on time. So there's always going to be a right coming from a wrong leading you to not be disappointed in yourself just lean a lesson in life.

Note:
think of life as one huge lesson that must be learned in order to survive. I've come to think that life is just one huge book of questions and we are here to answer these questions, some might be hard to get, but try this....
Is there really an answer to everything? How do we know that we have the right answer?

Welcome

In the past weeks, i have noticed that writing isn't a gift, it is just letting go and writing everything on paper. Create a whole new world and being able to share it through this blog will be one of the best things for me, because it is sharing the way i live life.
